Booking and payment

The use, booking and registration on the Moonluza website means unconditionally that these General Terms and Conditions have been read and accepted by clients.
The client declares that, at the time of a request or booking, they are of legal adult age (18 years old). All personal data is processed and used for the sole purpose of providing our services.

Booking and payment

Bookings and payments are made no later than 20 days before the scheduled date of the project/event.

Bookings

Booking of a project/event can be made through the Internet, after completing the appropriate form or by sending a booking request to the following email addresses: info@moonluza.pt

When completing the form or submitting a request, please ensure all fields are filled in, selecting a specific project/service and the appropriate option.

Reservations can also be made by travel agencies, companies or other representatives of groups of participants. In this case it is recommended that the request is submitted by email.

Booking is valid upon receipt of electronic or written confirmation, and after payment has been made and confirmed.

Payments

It is important that, before placing the booking form or request, the client carefully reads all terms and conditions of the offer. For projects and events with various options and dates, various prices exist. The client must analyse the offer and all elements included in the specific project, specific option and specific price.

After submitting the booking request and after receiving electronic confirmation or answer, the client must effect payment.

Payment is made either via PayPal or by bank transfer. In the case of bank transfer, the client must send a confirmation receipt by email, within 48 hours of making the payment.

Payment schedule:

Bookings and payments completed on the website of Moonluza require full payment of the chosen project/event.

For bookings made by sending a form by email, the following payment schedule applies:

  • 40% of the total payment made to the company’s account within 7 days after placing the booking;
  • 60% of the total payment made to the company’s account within 20 days before the planned event;

Attention: This schedule does not apply for the early price/fee options.

Booking is confirmed after full payment has been made to the account of Moonluza.

All prices are in Euros. Any additional costs associated to payments, bank transfer or others must be carried by the client.

Change and cancellation policy

Change of booking by the client

Should the client wish to change the booking of the whole project or its option, this must be done in written form, and within 20 days before the start of scheduled project/event, by sending the request to the following email address: events@moonluza.pt 

If the change of booking entails a change of price and that subsequent price is higher, then the client must pay the difference within 48 hours after making the request.

In cases when the price difference is to the client’s benefit, Moonluza is required to reimburse the difference to the client, by bank transfer to the given account. All and any additional costs associated to the change will be carried by the client.

Change of booking by Moonluza

In the event that unforeseen circumstances force Moonluza to change the date of the project/event, the programme, price or others, Moonluza is obliged to immediately inform the client. The client is then obliged to reply in writing whether s/he agrees to the proposed change/s or chooses to withdraw from the project/events.

Cancellation

Due to circumstances attributable to the company Moonluza

Should circumstances arise that force the cancellation of a project/event, the company Moonluza, is obliged to immediately inform the client of this fact and to reimburse any payment for the project/event already made by the client to the company account. The reimbursement is done by bank transfer to the account indicated by the client.

In cases where the project/events requires a minimum number of participants and if within 20 days of its start-date this number is not reached, than the company Moonluza reserves the right to cancel the project. Should such unfortunate circumstances arise, the company is obliged to immediately inform the client of this fact and to reimburse all payment for the project/event already made by the client to the company’s account.

Due to circumstances attributable to the client

Should circumstances arise that oblige the client, travel agency or other institution to cancel his/her participation in the booked project/event, the client has to immediately inform the company Moonluza, Unipessoal Lda of this fact, in writing. Depending on the date on which the company is informed about the cancellation, the client has the right to reimbursement of the paid fee or its part. The reimbursement is according to the following calendar:

  • up to 60 days before the date of the project/event: up to 90% of the total paid fee;
  • from 59 up to 30  days before the date of the project/event: up to 60% of the total paid fee;
  • from 29 up to 20 days before the date of the project/event: up to 40% of the total paid fee;
  • from 19 up to 10 days before the date of the project/event: up to 30% of the total paid fee;
  • from 9 up to 2 days before the date of the project/event: up to 10% of the total paid fee;

Taking into consideration that some projects/events are ruled by specific and particular conditions regarding cancellation, the company Moonluza reserves the right to send clear guidelines and conditions about the cancellation policy and reimbursement if circumstances arise that oblige the client to cancel the participation and if the client transmits this fact in writing.

The reimbursement is done by bank transfer.

 

Duties and responsibilities of participant

It is the total responsibility of participants of the projects/events organized by Moonluza to hold a valid identification document and all other necessary documents. Before placing the booking request, participants must ensure that they hold valid insurance and that they have received all confirmation of their participation in a project.

It is the responsibility of participants to check and confirm information regarding their flights, luggage policy, check-in schedule, and all other details connected to travelling.

Participants must respect the schedule programme planned for the project and if any need for changes arises, they must inform the organizer in advance.

 

Complaints

Moonluza liability is limited, in accordance with applicable law.

Should circumstances arise that force the client to place a complaint, it should be done in written form and sent accompanied by a document confirming their participation in the project/event to which the complaint refers, to the following email address of Moonluza:

events@moonluza.pt under the subject: complaint

or by registered post to the following address:

with the subject complaint, within 40 days after the realization of the project.

The deadline for answering the complaint/s is within 30 days from the date of the receipt of the notice. Complaints referring to circumstances beyond the company’s liability will not be answered.

 

Applicable Law

The law applicable is Portuguese law.
