This time we had the greatest pleasure to design a very individual programme of discovery of Portugal for a family trip. The participants joined us from Poland and from the Netherlands for a 10-day stay divided in two parts.
First stop was in Estoril on the Sunny Coast the sea with very easy and comfortable connections to both Lisbon and Sintra. This part of the adventure included discoveries of Cabo da Roca, Azenhas do Mar, Sintra, Praia das Maçãs, Lisbon and offered swims in the Atlantic Ocean and a very unique 18/birthday celebration of one of the family members.
During the second part of their journeying through Portugal our family stayed in a small family run house in the beautiful region of Bairrada. Our guests had chance to get to know this popular wine-growing district in Portugal, known also for its delicious gastronomy and beautiful landscapes. Our guest could taste some of the delicious local dishes home-made by lovely Elisabete and enjoy the peaceful countryside of Bairrada. The privilege location allowed them to visit Oporto, Aveiro, Costa Nova and they even traveled to Fátima, Batalha and Tomar. Of course their stay couldn’t be fully experienced without visits to the local vineyards and wine museums followed by tasting of some of the local wines.
We do hope to see them back in Portugal!
